Dogs Of War - Server Rules
1. Respect Admin.
The DOGS OF WAR admin are good regular people who try and keep a clean and happy server going for all players. They are not perfect and will always try assist. Never, ever dis-respect admin by calling them names, cheaters, hackers or anything else. Some of us are more tolerable than others and may let it go by with a kick...BUT don't be surprised if a ban is implemented for those who just don't think before they type.
2. Language.
Offensive language and Blasphemy of any kind will not be tolerated on the DOG servers. Particularly insulting comments and name calling. All players must be respected no matter how poorly they play. We all started playing this game at some stage and not everyone is as good as others. So tolorence is essential.
3. Text Talk.
This is something that will also not be tolerated on the Servers during game play. Chatter will be maintained
to game play only. General courteous text is no problem but definitely no spamming, whinging, complaining and talk about how everybody else thinks of each other. We are here to play. Take the rubbish chats to the chat rooms outside of the game. If you want to complain to the DOGS about something or someone, Do it on the DOG forum. http://www.phpbb88.com/dogsofwar/
4. Camping.
The DOG servers have no fast rule about campers. We want players to play how they want and not be dictated into playing like everybody else. That's what makes the game fun. If you hate campers, don't complain about them.. Just find them and shoot them to pieces...it's easy.
5. Spawn Killing.
There is also no specific rule about spawn killing. DOGS believe that what goes round will come around..so no complaining..What is a reasonable policy when you are in front of a newly spawned player is to give him a chance to get his bearings and if he fires first, then go for it..Again no hard and fast rule.
6. Maps & Requests
Not everybody can be acomodated with maps that they like. Everyone likes different maps. Please do NOT pester the DOGS to change map every time one that you don't like comes up. There are other players who do like it.
So.. If you don't like a map, either play it out until the next map is voted for or go take a break. It is ok to ask for a specific map. Most DOGS will try and get it on for you AFTER the current one has finished. But as stated do not complain that the maps sucks etc...You always have the option to play else where if you don't like what goes on.
7. Hacking
Hacking will NOT be tolerated on any of the DOG servers. Wallhacks Aimbots... you name it YOU WILL BE BANNED!.
This warning extends to all players who consistently use Reload Glitches to quick load and any other scripts that let a player get an unfair advantage. This includes any automated scripts using a keyboard or mouse. DOGS believe that Call Of Duty is meant to be played as is when it comes to skills. That means none of what has been mentioned. Also..Players use these and when caught say "I do it accidentally out of habit"...Well, it's NOT On so lose the habit and the hacks if you want to play on the DOG Servers.
8. Recruiting & General
No recruiting players on the servers. Anyone caught recruiting or rubbishing the DOG servers with a view of taking players to play elsewhere WILL be Banned! If you don't like something about our servers, you can always make suggestions to the DOGS on the Forum Or Shout Box on our website.
8. Player's Name
Players need to have a proper name when playing on the DOG Servers. Just symbols and dots are not acceptable. Also, please refrain from putting the ^ in between the letters for color. These names are hard to read when displayed in the game. eg a^1s^5tu^8p^4i^3d ^7N^2a^9m^6e
9. Trip Wires
Trip Wires will NOT be placed in a known spawn point where the player blows up as soon as he/she moves. When placing a trip wire, allow a distance of approximately five (5) steps. Give the player spawning a chance to either go around or pick up the trips... This rule will be enforced with a a kick and eventually a BAN if not adhered to.
10. Map Glitches
Players are not allowed to be under or outside the map. This includes any parts of the map where the player can not be seen or killed from. If you accidentally fall outside the map, Go spectate and return into the game...This rule will be enforced with a a kick and eventually a BAN if not adhered to.
11. Gameplay
It has come to notice that some players after being Shot will go into spectator mode to avoid Bleeding Out and then come back in therefor avoiding a death. This practice will Not be tolerated as it is cowardly and cheating. Players caught doing this will be kicked and if necessary banned.
